Hostels usually charge per academic year and by room type (4-in-1, 2-in-1, 1-in-1). News reports for 2026/27 put private hostel beds around Legon from roughly GH₵7,600 a year for a 4-in-1 to GH₵13,000–21,000+ for a 2-in-1 or single. Always view the room first and never pay an agent who promises a hall bed.
